[Hope you guys don't mind me making a new one. Anyone can join, lets say this is the day after the one we are currently on in comic sorry for long post ><] Jesse was by herself, not an especially rare thing for her, practicing her sword strokes. Her hair was tied up as usual, but her outfit had changed for the time being to just her pants. Her shirt was thrown to the side, bandages covering her torso. Sweat covered her body as she continued to swing. She had been at it all night, unable to sleep. This irritated her, she hadn't missed sleep since she was a child. It might be because she was in a new place, surrounded by strangers, she only knew her brother here. She paused for a moment, thinking to herself. James seemed more happy than usual since last night....he had come to their tent with a soft smile on his face. That was a smile she hadn't seen in a long time, especially since he normally wore a mask now. She grit her teeth and started swinging her sword harder. **"It's so easy for him to make friends...I'm happy for him, but it irritates me at the same time!!"** she said to herself in German, an old habit of hers. She might say things like this, but she knew the reason people tended to avoid her, she wasn't exactly a pleasant person, and her eye patch tended to make her seem more frightening. **"If they saw what was under, they might be even more scared of me..."** she stopped again, her sword thrust forward, her body in the fighting position that matched. **"That clown....Cass?....she saw it....."** that clown was abnormal though....then again all the people she had met here seemed abnormal to her. She moved suddenly, slashing at the air as if she had a different sword than her rapier. Though that was her sword of choice, she actually could use any blade well. Anyone who saw her might think that she was extremely angry, her whole appearance seeming to darken. She continued this way until she heard a voice nearby her. "Sister?" She stopped, standing straight, her sword pointing to the ground and her body covered in sweat. She looked behind herself to her brother, who was watching her with worry. She sighed, and her darker mood seemed to vanish. "I'm fine....just restless." she put away her sword and walked towards him, picking up her shirt as she did. She wondered if there was a bathing system here at the circus and made a mental note to ask someone later. For now she kept her shirt off, to warm to put it on at the moment. "Ah...well I was told that we can get some food from there." James said, pointing to a tent. She nodded and headed for it, not particularly hungry, but knew if she didn't go James would be more upset. They entered the tent together, the place empty except for food. Jesse tossed her shirt on one of the tables, then sat on the bench in front of it, her back to the table. James went and started to pick out food to eat, leaving Jesse to her thoughts.

Janaan had been resting after a long day at Le Cirque. The sights, the laughs, the screams - it was still a lot to take in for her after being "on her own" for so long. She did have The Oracle with her the whole time but he was usually silent, sitting, pondering, watching her every move, inquiring upon her every decision, and of course it wouldn't be The Oracle without the dead and ever-so-slightly cryptic tone always chiming within the recesses of her mind. He was always with her. Always. Even now, her in the cafeteria tent toward the back of the circus, and him in their tent toward the front. She couldn't hear him, but she could feel him - sense him - like a white noise too high-pitched to be certain of its definite existance, but you could still feel it clamping onto the back of your mind and ears. Always.
She was torn from her thoughts when two fellow members of Le Cirque had so boisterously entered the tent. Janaan wrapped her retrieved bread in her cloth bag and tied it to her waist - as she did with all her spoils - and unveiled herself from the corner of the tent she had been residing in. Not to scare the fellow carnies, she made her appearance subtle and sweet. "Marhaba. Nice night for a snack, yes?" she said softly, her arabian accent plastered thick against her words.

James had food in his mouth as he returned to sit with his sister. He swallowed and smiled at the other carnie "Hey there! I'm James!" Jesse looked at the woman who had appeared for a few moments. Had she said night? "You know....the sun has risen already." Jesse said to the woman, sounding as if she was scolding the other. It wasn't her intention to scold, her voice just tended to sound that way. She looked to James, who was eating with one of his goofy smiles on his face. "Besides the way my brother eats, I don't think we can consider this a snack." James looked to her, head tilted in a inquisitive manner. Jesse sighed and got up, walking to the table with food. It turns out that she was more hungry than she had thought. She started gathering what caught her eye, and also keeping track of this other carnie at the same time. The other carnie just stood there, looking sweet. 'She isn't sweet though...its as if she is acting' Jesse thought to herself as she sat beside her brother, facing the woman. "You could....join us if you want...." Jesse said looking to her plate of food. James paused while eating, looking to his sister in surprise, then looked to the woman with mouth full and a chipmunk like smile and nodded enthusiastically.

"Ah, is it? It is hard to see that in a tent," Janaan gave a light chuckle, which then turned into a hearty laugh when her attention was brought to the man's frantic eating.
When offered to stay, Janaan perked up. "I would be happy to join you for as long as you will have me." She sat down across from them and rested her hands in her lap, then suddenly inhaled. "Where are my manners? I am Janaan and I am glad to meet you. What do you two do here?"

"Jesse, I'm a fencer....and the ringleader said something about helping with costumes as a side job..." Jesse looked to her brother, his mouth was to full to reply. "This idiot is the Joker.....he's going to do carving as his side job." she looked back to Janaan "We only arrived yesterday, so we are not used to anything here yet." she started eating her food, in a slower manner than James, though she had about an equal amount of food on her plate. It was her first time eating Italian food. As the taste got a hold of her senses, a rare small smile appeared on her lips.

"If you need anything, I am more than happy to help. I am the fortune teller and puppet story teller. My tent is purple and green and hard to miss. You are welcome any time." Janaan offered, gradually talking with her hands more as she spoke. "Oh," her hands fell to the table. "I do not charge the carnies for my services either, if you ever find yourself interested."

'Fortune teller?' she glanced over to James who seemed to be surrounded by sparkles. He tried to talk, but his words came out muffled. Jesse sighs and looks to Janaan "He says 'That's so cool! I would love it if you could tell my fortune!'" it was easy for her to translate his muffled speech, since they had grown up together. "I suppose we can return the favor somehow...I can make you some clothes or something...." Jesse realized once she said that, that Janaan could probably sew herself, since she worked with puppets. Jesse looked down to her food, hiding her embarrassment. "I mean...I would feel bad if we didn't pay you back in some way...."

"Exchange is not neccessary!" Janaan exclaimed, raising her hands. "But I can not decline if you feel you must? I can offer my services once we are finished here; my items are in my tent."
Janaan drew a breath and smiled sweetly. "I must warn you of my company. He is an entity attached to me. He will not harm you, but his appearance is not pleasant."

Yesterday was eventful, last night was also eventful. The Dragon woman, almost had something new planned, almost. With a great big loud unanimal like yawn that made the birds fly away from their morning nest. A claw pulled at the blue and gold tent door. Well it could be blue to Hope it was something else. Pulling the draped doors open the rising sun gave her a black silhouette. It was unhuman, pointed pointed ears, a long twisted tail that flicked behind her; Flexing her wings behind her, she could have been mistaken for a demon with in the darkness that was in the light. But onces she stept into the tent, all that was gone, all of it gone-Well almost gone. The wings stayed. Stretching she yawned again, this time more human and more lady like. Her ears perked a little as she tryed to rub the sleep from her eyes. "Who's attached to Whom?" she asked sweetly. Feeling that she was getting a second wind. Smiling she saw the new faces "Oh, apologies, good morrow to you all, or is it good after noon?" She fished for her glasses in her dress "What day is it now? sorry time seemed to ran away with me." she giggled. New faces, she loved seeing new faces.

Jesse looked up to Janaan "His appearance is more unpleasant than mine?" James jumped a little a string of muffled speech coming after. Part of it was for her, so she didn't bother to translate "I...." she sighed "Sorry, I'm just used to people thinking that about me. He says 'It's no problem we would still like to come.' Though I'm not sure where the 'we' comes from." she looked to Hope, who she had met briefly the day before "He says good morning to you....and something about a shadow man....and if the horse hurt him badly?" she looked to James who nodded excitedly. "Whatever that's supposed to mean." she said, almost mumbling to herself.

"Ah, hello, Hope! I was just offering help to our new carnies," Janaan stated, folding her hands over each other on top the table. "If you are not joining us after this, Jesse, I understand. Perhaps we can find something we both like to do another time. Hope, you are also welcome to come to my tent for a telling."

Hope's smiled weakened "Thank you, Janaan." But it was something that may never happen. The last time Hope was with a teller-well she didn't want to talk or think about it. Shuttering she looked at the two Elves "The shadow man got what came to him" She walked over and patted Jamse's head "Slow down boy, your food will not run away from you, and Madam Jessie, I do hope we could have a little chat later, I do have a few questions for you, and your sword of yours." the woman said with a smile.

Jesse looked to Hope "My....sword?" she looked to it, the red gem that made the eye of the dragon it was shaped into seemed to glow for a moment. She looked back to Hope "Sure....I can talk to you while this idiot goes to get his fortune told." she said indicating James, who seemed to have slowed down with his food.

As shadow covered the ground as Deo stepped into the tent. The ever present array of straw in his light hair made him look as if he had rolled around in a stall; probably had, considering he spent most of his time there anyway. Dusting off his tunic with long fingers, he paid no mind to his surroundings and people, never one to be social; and also hardly the one to strike up a conversation himself. Although, if provoked he may turn into a viper with words, but who's wanting that?
Deo got his food without so much as a glance to the cook and took a seat in the far corner. Even if he hadn't spared a glance to anyone, he knew there was the two newbies, Hope and Janaan not far away. He may not seem like it, but he never missed a detail, just didn't want to put too much effort in acknowledging it when horses needed him. He was, ahem, the horse nanny after all.

Upon noticinng Deo walk in, Janaan just gave him a small smile before returning her attention to the three closer to her, politely waiting for her chance to squeeze in. "I am ready to leave when you are, James. But please, take your time."
